Levels of Learning
Our class levels are based on student readiness to make the learning experience personalized and effective.
PRIMARY PREP
Primary Prep students will enjoy age-appropriate learning through hands-on activities, preschool readiness workbooks, picture books, and music. Parents will work with instructors to specify the individual student's needs regarding snacks, potty training, and rest times.

101 Rhythm Instrument Activities for Young Children
PRIMARY ONE
Primary One students are ready to sit and participate in a classroom setting. They are able to focus and follow instructions while not interrupting the instructor. They are beginning to develop their reading and writing abilities. Class times will consist of hands-on activities, read-alouds and picture books, short topical videos, experiments, notebooking, art projects, and active discussion.

PRIMARY TWO
Primary Two students have learned to show respect to the instructor and fellow students by listening attentively without interrupting and engaging in productive group discussion. They are able to read and write independently. Class times will consist of hands-on activities, read-alouds and picture books, short topical videos, experiments, notebooking, art projects, instruction in writing and grammar, and literature discussion. Weekly homework will include reading assignments and written narrations which are expected to be completed each week.

MIDDLE SCHOOL
Middle School students are ready to begin taking ownership of their education and are learning to work independently. They are able to read, understand, and respond to assigned texts, follow both verbal and written instructions, and meaningfully participate in class discussions. Class times will consist of group discussion, writing and grammar instruction, fundamentals of Spanish, science experiments, beginning literary analysis, and student presentations.

HIGH SCHOOL
High School students are taking ownership of their education and are progressing towards independence. They are able to read, understand, and respond to assigned texts. They participate meaningfully in group discussions and are ready to begin leading those discussions. They are learning to evaluate sources, think critically about them, and articulate their own positions. They can follow verbal and written instructions to complete assignments in a timely manner. They are looking ahead, setting goals, and actively working towards achieving those goals.
There are two levels of high school classes. These levels are fluid; students may take any high school class that fits within their education plan. Class activities will vary based upon which classes are taken. These activities will include group discussions and activities, literary analysis, poetry exploration, writing and grammar instruction, Spanish fundamentals, current events discussion and analysis, science labs, and student presentations.
